Washing dishes
Washing dishes is my work in home. It takes thirty minutes in total. This is good time for listening. I listened to The Notebook when I washed dishes today. I saw the movie of The Notebook. The story line of this book is slight different from this movie. Almost same. I forget most of part of this book. I realized it, listening to The Notebook. Already, I finished half part. I will finish all part soon. I am looking forward to enjoying the last seen.

Audiobook and Movie
Recently, I am able to enjoy listening to audiobooks and seeing movies without japanese subscript. Several months ago, I wasn't. I have already finished listening to two audiobooks. One is about self-development and the other is The Wedding written by Nicholas Sparks. Both of them were understandable to me. Now I listen to The Notebook written by Nicholas Sparks. This novel is my favorite. I read it and saw its movie.
A year ago, I didn't know how fun listening to audiobooks is. Of course, reading novels in English is also fun. I look forward to seeing new world which is fun to me. Since I met audiobooks, I opened a new world. This is one of the best thing for me.

Sendai
I went to Sendai last week, since I had to take part in a lecture at Tohoku University.
Sendai was colder than Tokyo, even though it was colder last week in Tokyo. I had a good time with my friends of Sendai and we drunk beer, and then I had a cold because Sendai was cold and beer took my power.
Fortunately, I recovered soon.
As I mentioned long before in this blog, I learned the tea ceremony or Sado. I went to see my masters. I didn't see them since I moved to Saitama from Sendai. As usual, I got on the bus and got off near their tea room and I walked to the place. When I got at the place, I saw two cars in front of the place. In other words, there were at least two people other than me and masters. I got in the house and greeted people. Master said he taught me new technique with these people. I was very happy because this was the first time which I was taught a new method by the master. Also I am thankful for other people. I think I should send a letter to them.
At Saturday, I got on Hayate and came back home.

Tired?
Since I returned to Japan, ten days has passed. At fast, I was very exhausted, and I didn't have a feeling to do something. Now I am fine but I have not done a lot of work. To be honest, I have not done work at all. Only I went to my university.
This is stress.
When I was a university student, I once was under a very big stress. I wouldn't like to do anything, and I just killed time. Time had passed, and the stress was declining but I was not able to stop to kill time. A year passed. I didn't know that I was able to gradute at that time. I managed to come back to healthy condition.
Let's come back to usual days.

On ne change pas, by Celine Dion
昨日早速 Napster をダウンロードしトライアルを始めたのでした。それでいろいろと物色する中 Celine Dion を見つけなんとフランス語でのアルバムもありました。
これです。
今日のフランス語学習はこのアルバムを大学の行き返りで聞いたのみです。まだ言葉というよりは楽器の一つです。もっとも声というのは人間のもつ一番の楽器ですが。
Napster を使い始めて気になったのは邦楽があまりないような気がすること。ポルノグラフィティ、中島みゆき、スマップ、サザンオールスターズ、ミスチル。とりあえず調べた上記の歌手はまったくない。
日本の音楽業界はユーザーに不親切。たしか戦後に作った法律が時代遅れなのにもかかわらず今でも得している団体、企業のために法律が改正されない。たとえば、アルバムの値段が固定されてる、著作権者にもかかわらず自分だけでは販売できなく、ある団体に上納金を納める必要がある。
日本のレコード会社も独自で音楽配信サービスをしているからNapsterには手を貸さないのかも。なんで日本以外の国の会社は提携していて日本の会社は提携しないのか。私見では（もちろん今までも私見ですが）ITのことは良くわからなく、保守的な経営陣のせい。CCCDという前科もある。
邦楽はNapsterにほとんどないけれど、それ以外はほとんどあります。クラシック、ジャズはかなりあるみたいです。あまりクラシックのことはあまり知らないのですが、僕が知っているピアニストのルービンシュタインとかホロビッツがありました。日本の業界が弱い分野の音楽はあるのかも。

フランス語学習開始
11月にパリに行くことに刺激され、また今回の海外出張で異国文化に目覚めたので、フランス語、その美しい世界を本格的に探求することにしました。以下の文はこのブログでフランス語の表記が出来ることを確かめたものです。

今のところ学習戦略は以下のようです。

4月からとりためていたNHKテレビフランス語会話を最新のものまでみる。
読みかけの「超」フランス語入門（その美しさと愉しみ）西永良成著を読了する。
NHKCDブックまるごと覚えようNHKスタンダード４０フランス語を読了する。
フランスの音楽で Parrot's law を行う。最初はセリーヌ・ディオンにしようかと思案中。
パリに行って本屋で語彙制限された本を購入し読む。
セーヌ川畔で開かれている古本屋をのぞき絵本を物色し購入。
パリでは積極的にフランス語で話しかける。
フランス語は大学二年の春学期に進振対策で点数を稼ぐ必要があったため第3外国語として履修し教科書5、60ページを暗記しテストはほぼ満点でした。数の１１から２０をなぜか覚えなかったためこれに関する箇所だけ間違えました。テストが終わると同時にサークル仲間のいる学生会館に移動しゴミ箱に暗記用のシートを投げ捨てたことを今でも覚えてます。だから一度は文法も基本的な単語も覚えました。もちろん今はすっかり忘れてます。
目標は英語と同じく、気楽に話せて小説が読め映画が日本語字幕なしで楽しめ音楽を楽しめるようになることです。

I finished reading this book. I was surprised at the story. Because there are betrayal of closed friend and death of the most lovable person in this book. Since I read this book after finished "Never let me go", I felt a big gap between them. In Never let me go, there are no straight emotional description, in other words, Kazuo Ishiguro writes quietly and smoothly. On the other hand, in At first sight, there are straight emotional event which easily make people happy, sad, fear, anxious. This is the difference between entertainment and litarature.

CinemaNow
I became a member of CinemaNow. Because I can see movies in English without subtitles recently and I go to my university by the train and I have a laptop PC, then I can see movies on the train. I think this is an efficient way of learning English. In fact, it is fun than studying.
I am also interested in Napster. Napster supply to us one and half million music at fix price. I prefer to listen to many music, rather than posess a little music. Of course, if I am rich then I can buy anything but I am not rich... Anyway, this service is suit to me, I think.

At last,
I came back home. During my stay, I felt my tiredness a little. But I was exhausted actually. It was hard for me to go only to my unversity yesterday. (My return day was the day before yesterday.)
I become to be able to see a movie without sound. Because in Russia I was not able to understand what people said since I can not understand Russian and I understood what people communicated with me with tone, jesture, face, eye contact. Therefore, I become to be able to know meanings people send to me without their voice.
